Isometric Board RPG is a mix of a tactical board game and a classic JRPG, think Shining Force meets Final Fantasy. Heroes travel across isometric boards and interact with NPCs and the world like freezing a lake or burning plants that block the way. On a board everything happens in turns ordered by speed, and every piece moves with its own chess-like pattern. When pieces of two players collide, the game switches to a Final Fantasy style side-view battle.
The project consists of an editor and an example game that can be modified in the editor. Classes, abilities, items, maps, dialogs and quests are all data, so new content can be created without any programming. The editor runs in the browser and the finished games can be played with a small desktop player.
